Pin Turn won! The victory brought her record to 11-1-2-3 with almost $50,000 in earnings. She has now been retired to Denali Stud as a broodmare alongside her dam.

9/12/10:
Ipi's 2009 Giant's Causeway yearling colt will be selling tonight at the Keeneland sale, Book 1, Hip 51.

8/5/10: Pin Turn is running tomorrow at Saratoga! Also, new pix of Ipi's 2010 MDO filly have been added.

5/19/10:
Pin Turn is entered to run in the 7th race at Belmont on Friday, May 21st!

3/4/10: Ipi foaled a beautiful bay filly by Medaglia d'Oro!

10/2/09: Pin Turn will be making her fourth start on Thursday, November 12th, at the Meadowlands.

10/2/09: Pin Turn will be making her third start tomorrow at the Meadowlands in Race 4!

9/7/09: Pin Turn is making her second start today at Philadelphia Park---race 11, 8.5 furlongs turf MSW, 5:58 EST. She is the favorite as of noon!

8/22/09: Monastic Springs has been sold for stud duties in Venezuela. He will stand at Haras Gran Derby.

6/24/09: Pin Turn worked for the first time at Monmouth Park this morning. She went 3 furlongs on the dirt in :36.40.

6/8/09: Pin Turn had her first official workout today!!! She went 4 furlongs in :51. Yay filly!

5/12/09: Monastic Springs is entered to run in a one mile allowance on turf at Belmont on Thursday, May 14th. Also, check out the Ipi memorabilia page to see pictures of her Moneighs.

4/5/09: Monastic Springs is back on the work tab! He went 4 furlongs in :54 which doesn't look like much on paper, but it is his first official work since June 2008. Hooray!

2/9/09: Ipi Tombe foaled a healthy bay colt by Giant's Causeway! Both mare and foal are doing well, and Ipi is booked to Kingmambo this season.

5/24/08: Monastic Springs WON his first start!

3/7/08: Monastic Springs is back in training! Ipi's Pivotal filly has been named Pin Turn. Alas, Ipi slipped her Giant's Causeway filly, so no foal this year. She is confirmed in foal to GC again for next year though.

In a February 2008 poll on www.sahorseracing.com, Ipi Tombe was voted (in a landslide) the greatest racehorse since Horse Chestnut to grace South Africa's tracks.
