After a series of steady workouts in June and July 2009, Pin Turn made her debut on July 17, in the fourth race at Belmont Park over the inner turf course. She was checked at the start and ran last all the way down the backstretch and around the turn where she was carried wide. Once clear in the stretch, she quickly made up ground and finished a fast closing third by about three lengths.

Pin Turn made her second start at Philadelphia Park on September 7, 2009. This time, she ran much closer to the pace, laying third down the backstretch. On the turn, she was caught 4 wide and was pushed wider still into the stretch where she faded to fourth.

On Saturday, October 3rd, Pin Turn made her third start at the Meadowlands in a MSW over yielding turf. She raced well just off the pace, was passed on the turn by most of the field, and then rallied again in the stretch to be fifth.

Pin Turn ran for the fourth time, again at the Meadowlands, on Thursday, November 12, 2009. She broke alertly and settled in second about 2 lengths off the leader through the first turn and down the backstretch. She rallied mildly on the turn but lost her momentum when the field engulfed her and she faded to sixth.

Pin Turn returned to the worktab in April of 2010, and raced 7 times in 2010, bringing home a check each time. In what proved to be her last start, she finally broke her maiden, winning by a hard-charging nose.

Following her win at Laurel Park in November, Pin Turn was retired to the broodmare band at Denali Stud alongside her dam. She was bred on February 23, 2011, to champion Lemon Drop Kid for a 2012 foal. In Novermber of 2011, she sold at the Keeneland Mixed sale for $40,000 to Paradox Farm (a division of Gardiner Farms) in Caledon, Ontario. On February 12, 2012, Pin Turn produced a healthy colt.

Pin Turn was sold again as a part of the Paradox Farm dispersal at Keeneland November 2012. She was purchased by Northfields Bloodstock of South Africa for $65,000. Pin Turn is in foal to Old Forester for 2013, and will be bred to Tapit on Southern Hemisphere time in 2013 before heading to South Africa. Her Lemon Drop Kid colt will sell in the 2013 Keeneland January sale.
